Nerikes Brandkår · Befristet
Nastagatan 10 A, Örebro, Schweden
For summer 2027, we are seeking responding firefighters for vacation coverage at our full-time stations in Nasta, Öster, and Byrsta. Nerikes Brandkår is a municipal federation where Örebro, Kumla, Hallsberg, Lekeberg, Laxå, Askersund, Nora, Lindesberg, and Ljusnarsberg collaborate on rescue services and accident prevention. We are one of Sweden's larger rescue service federations with 28 fire stations, approximately 500 employees, and a service area covering approximately 260,000 residents. We are in an exciting phase of expansion and development. Räddningsregion Bergslagen (RRB) – an operational collaboration between five counties with a focus on Värmland, Dalarna, and Örebro County – was launched in 2020. We collaborate in a shared operations center together with the Police and SOS Alarm. In early 2026, an additional fire station, Station Öster, was opened in Örebro. Nerikes Brandkår strives for equality and diversity, where everyone contributes with different knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. Therefore, we welcome applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds and circumstances. Don't hesitate to submit your application today!
