Your Assignment As a property caretaker, you are the face of our residential areas when it comes to contact with tenants from move-in to move-out, troubleshooting, repairs, and various types of apartment inspections. The role involves cost-effectively addressing problems with the customer in focus, at the right time and with the right action, and contributing to our promise to create the wonderful feeling of coming home. You will be part of a management team with an area manager as your immediate supervisor. You will work closely with the area manager, other caretakers, and facility technicians in the area. Responsibilities and Tasks Perform repairs and maintenance work in apartments and common areas following fault reports. First, perform the work yourself; second, order from a contractor. Order minor maintenance work. Manage customer contacts before, during, and after fault resolution. Manage contacts with contractors and internal resources, such as service technicians and facility technicians, before, during, and after fault resolution. Conduct move-out and cleaning inspections in your assigned management area. Hold move-in meetings with new tenants. Charge tenants for abnormal wear or deficiencies found during move-out cleaning. Report building deficiencies or maintenance needs to the area manager. Independently handle minor damage claims such as water damage and fire damage. Assist with larger damage claims, such as area manager, project manager, or technical manager. Handle minor disturbances. Participate in tenant activities. Financial Responsibility: Manage the repair budget for your assigned area, approve and post invoices from your own orders, and ensure repair versus replacement decisions are made at the right time. Participate in budget work. About You As a person, you are attentive, independent, and action-oriented with good organizational skills. You are as comfortable collaborating with colleagues as working independently. You are service-oriented with the customer in focus. You enjoy daily contact with tenants, are communicative, and can express yourself well both verbally and in writing. You use digital tools fluently in your administration and are accustomed to independently planning and following up on your work. Qualifications - Completed upper secondary education and at least three years of experience in similar work - Category B driving license - Very good IT skills in the relevant areas for the position.
