Bollnäs Health Center is the largest health center in Region Gävleborg. It is located at Bollnäs Hospital. We have brought all our expertise under one roof, which allows us to create a strong and competent team with many years of experience in primary care, and together we make a difference for our approximately 18,000 registered patients. Here you have proximity to a well-functioning hospital and personal contact with colleagues in inpatient care. We can guarantee well-functioning collaboration with competent colleagues within the other professions at the health center. Teamwork is strong with us and we always put the patient in focus. One of our strengths is that we have several permanent general medicine specialists.

There is also the possibility to combine work so that you also work at our health center in Voxnadalen, which is approximately 20 minutes from Bollnäs. Either part-time or full-time. The Voxnadalen health center is a smaller operation with approximately 2,000 registered patients. There are good opportunities to develop your knowledge in rural medicine.
To be suitable for the position:
You are a specialist in general medicine with credentials to practice within Swedish healthcare. You are driven by quality in your work and are a good collaborator among colleagues. You thrive in an environment with an open culture where the work is patient-focused. You have the ability to listen carefully and you are thorough, can work independently while also enjoying close collaboration with everyone on the team to provide patients with the best care. We place great emphasis on teamwork because we know that the quality of care increases through team-based care where different professions collaborate.
Fluent knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
Job responsibilities
Typical duties of a district physician at a health center.
You will have scheduled consultations with booked patients as well as emergency patients, plus chat and digital visits. If you are motivated by supervising ST physicians (resident doctors), there are good opportunities for that. As a district physician at the health center, the work will be shaped as much as possible according to your interests and experience. We have extensive collaboration between professional groups, which we value and expect you to become part of.

Bollnäs Municipality is located in the heart of Hälsingland with approximately 27,000 inhabitants. Live and experience wonderful nature experiences nearby, both summer and winter. Here you always have close access to lakes, forests, and beautiful mountains surrounding the area. Approximately 20 miles north of Bollnäs is Sundsvall, and 10 miles south you will find Gävle.
