Within the Social Care Administration, approximately 1,200 engaged employees work to provide support and care to those who need it in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home services, disability services, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care. Disability Services and Social Psychiatry is one of three departments within the Social Care Administration. The department is responsible for LSS residential facilities, day activities, residential support, short-term stays, and personal assistance. We have around 250 employees who work with great dedication, placing the individual's needs at the center and believing in each person's own abilities. We work purposefully to ensure that our operations maintain high competence and quality. Within the department, we work to foster collaboration between workplaces and competence development for our employees. We therefore work in collaboration groups where we help meet the needs of our operations and share knowledge and ideas between workplaces. This means that as a future employee, you will have a primary workplace where you work the majority of your shifts, and some shifts may be performed at another location. Welcome to work with us! 6 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a residential support worker, you start from the individual's own goals, resources, and strengths. You work together with the person to create conditions for an independent life and provide support based on each individual's needs, wishes, and life situation. The work includes, among other things: • supporting with practical everyday tasks • creating structure and functioning routines • motivating toward activity, occupation, and social participation • working with a recovery-oriented and solution-focused approach • documenting and following up on support measures • collaborating with relatives and other professionals. With us, you work with both traditional residential support and new working methods that are being developed within the framework of the new social services law. This includes, among other things: • preventive and early interventions • more flexible forms of support • support without needs assessment • digital residential support • close collaboration with other operations to provide the right support at the right time. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who sees people's possibilities before their limitations. Qualifications: • Education as a support pedagogue, social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue, or other equivalent post-secondary education • Experience working within social psychiatry, disability services, or other psychosocial work • Good computer skills and interest in digital working methods • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing • Driver's license category B. Meritorious: • Recovery-oriented working methods • Motivational Interviewing (MI) • Low-Arousal Approach • ESL or similar methods • Welfare technology and digital support measures • Collaboration between different operations. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-10-15 or by agreement. Working hours: Shift work. Mixed shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
