Do you want to work close with people and help create structure, security, and positive change in their daily lives? We are now hiring a residential support worker for our operations in Uppsala. In this role, you will meet individuals who need support to achieve a functioning life situation, and you will be an important part of their change process. Job Responsibilities As a residential support worker, you provide individually tailored support in clients' daily lives. The work is practical, relationship-based, and requires both clarity and flexibility. Your main responsibilities are to: Support clients using Stordala's approach to create structure in daily life, for example through routines, planning, and housing Motivate change and provide support on matters related to lifestyle, responsibility, and social relationships Collaborate effectively with social services and other stakeholders around the client Document interventions according to current guidelines Prepare monthly reports Participate in teamwork and contribute to a functioning and professional operation. Qualifications Requirements: Experience working with individuals with substance abuse issues, criminal history, or mental health challenges Very good Swedish in speech and writing Experience with documentation Driver's license (Category B) 2 years of post-secondary education in social work Meritorious: Experience working with implementation plans according to BBiC and IBiC Training in Motivational Interviewing (MI) Personal Qualities To thrive in the role of residential support worker and in our team, you need to be secure, stable, and have the ability to build trust in interactions with others.
