We are now hiring a residential support worker for our group home on Nybrovägen in Linköping. We offer training and a rewarding job where you make a real difference! This is a service that has been operating since fall 2024. About the Group Home The group home has 6 places located at Nybrovägen 28 in the Harvestad district in the southern parts of Linköping. The facility is situated close to nature but also has convenient access to shops and public transportation. The service provides accommodation with special services under the Social Services Act (SoL) and is directed toward individuals with mental health conditions. About the Role As a residential support worker, you will base your approach on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life using a pedagogical method. Together with 5 other team members, you work toward making each day meaningful and fulfilling. You will provide support and guidance in areas such as personal care, meal preparation, medication management, cleaning, community contact, and communication. An important part of the work is to encourage and motivate residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your responsibilities also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours include day shifts, evening shifts, weekends, and on-call overnight shifts. You will have a group manager working close to you who spends part of their time in the facility. This could also be a future career opportunity for you. Your Experience and Knowledge You have a high school education in healthcare and elderly care or equivalent qualification. You have strong Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with this target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will support and help you grow.
