At Mjösunda, you will be part of an exciting and educational journey!
Mjösunda is a group home for adults covered by LSS category 1. We work with individually tailored support based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal interaction. Together with your colleagues, you will continuously evaluate and adapt your approach to serve the individual's best interests. As a support worker with us, you primarily work with our residents as well as with certain administrative tasks such as social documentation. You are supported by engaged leadership with a team leader present during daytime on weekdays, and an operations manager.
As a support worker, you work with people who need help with their daily living:
- Provide individual support, care, and service provision
- Plan and carry out activities with clients
- Perform delegated health and care tasks
You work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues.
We are now seeking an employee for a permanent position; we apply a six-month probationary period. The position is 75% and working hours are variable, including days, evenings, and weekends.
We apply individual salary settings and other compensation according to collective agreement. Employment start date is by agreement.
Who Are You?
- Education as a nursing assistant, special educator, or behavioral scientist
- Experience from similar operations
- Knowledge of low-arousal interaction and clarifying pedagogy
- Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, as documentation is a major part of the work
- B-driver's license is required
As a person, you are service-oriented, attentive, and accommodating. The support worker position also requires patience, flexibility, and responsiveness.
