We are now recruiting a part-time residential support worker for Blomstervägen group home who wants to work daytime, evening shifts, and eventually overnight shifts as well. We offer training and a meaningful job where you make a difference! This is a fixed-term general position. About Blomstervägen Group Home Blomstervägen group home is located just outside Kallhäll Centrum with bus connections available. Our residents are in support category 1, so it is desirable that you have experience with autism and intellectual disabilities. If you don't have experience, it's important that you're willing to learn. We provide individualized support, and it's positive if you know sign language or are willing to learn it. We work according to our pedagogical framework where low-affect interaction is an important part. We are a work team that is very attuned to each individual's needs and together we create a personalized pedagogy that we all follow. We expect you to want to work in this manner. About the Role As a residential support worker, you work based on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical perspective. Together with other staff members, you work toward making each day meaningful and enriching. You support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Work hours are scheduled for daytime, evening shifts, weekends, and overnight shifts. You will have a group leader or group manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the service. This could also be a future career opportunity for you. Your Experience and Knowledge You have secondary education in care and support or equivalent education. You have good Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is a merit if you have experience working with this client group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow. You have a positive outlook, strong commitment to people, and take responsibility. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, and always have our clients' best interests at heart in everything you do. At Nytida, we are in constant development.
