What does the job as a residential support worker at Frösunda involve?
As a residential support worker, you work at one of our facilities to support, motivate, and stimulate individuals' own ability to carry out activities in daily life. Support can be verbal, educational, motivational, and practical in nature. Together with colleagues, your task is to provide support and services (LSS) to customers to create a functioning, stimulating, developing, and secure everyday life. You are part of a team and work tasks are carried out both individually and as a team. Together, you are responsible for planning, implementation, and follow-up. We work based on low-affective communication, a solution-focused approach with the customer in focus and from a salutogenic perspective. LSS Housing is granted to people with various types of disabilities, which is why the individuals' skills, needs, and development guide our efforts. The goal is to create conditions for an active and meaningful life in a safe and pleasant environment.

Common support includes planning, communication, activities, social interaction, and household chores. The work also includes documentation, collaboration with relatives, representatives, and other actors in the customer's network, as well as delegated HSL services.
Examples of work tasks:
Daily chores such as cleaning, shopping, cooking, social presence
Documentation and reporting
Outings, walks, exercise, and activities
Personal care such as hygiene, showering, toilet assistance, support, social presence
Support and motivate the customer for increased independence in their daily life
Work times are scheduled according to customer needs and vary between day, evening, and night on-call shifts, both weekdays and weekends.
About Trumle
We are seeking summer substitutes for Trumle LSS Group Home PK1. The facility has 6 apartments. The operation is staffed 24/7 year-round for adults within the LSS target group 1. Our mission is to create a secure, meaningful existence through supportive services in customers' daily lives.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would appreciate if you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. We also value good collaboration skills, flexibility, and the ability to listen when needed.
We appreciate if you have education or ongoing education in care and support.
It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience working with LSS and have care experience.
Good knowledge of Swedish is required, both spoken and written.
We appreciate good physical fitness.
Driver's license is required.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Personal suitability will be heavily weighted.
