As a residential support worker at Fårstickans group home, you will be an incredibly important part of the residents' lives and a source of security in their daily lives. You will help create a home where each person has the opportunity to live as independently and meaningfully as possible.
As a residential support worker at Fårstickans group home, you are an ambassador for the organization, where in addition to contact with residents' relatives, you also have good collaboration with case managers and other partners. You establish and maintain, as needed, good contact with neighbors of the group home.
Working hours are arranged according to the residents' needs and vary between day, evening, and night shifts, both weekdays and weekends.
Duties include, for example:
Provide support in daily routines and personal care
Create structure, security, and predictability
Support social contacts and activities
Work according to care plans
Document according to applicable guidelines
The position is a probationary employment for 6 months, full-time equivalent to 37 hours per week.
At any interview, you will need to show an extract from the criminal record register, which you obtain yourself digitally from the police website.
About the Workplace
Fårstickans group home is a small group home with five places in central Falköping
At Fårstickan, adults live who belong to care category 3, which means they live with permanent physical or mental disabilities that cause major difficulties in daily life and extensive need for support. Sometimes substance abuse issues may be present.

Järstorps Omsorg operates LSS activities within personal assistance, group homes, and soon also day activities. We currently have approximately 80 colleagues and our headquarters is located in Taberg outside Jönköping, but we operate throughout Götaland and Svealand.
