Want to make a difference in people's daily lives? We're looking for a Residential Care Assistant! Would you like to work with care, structured teaching methods, and daily activities? Then a position as a Residential Care Assistant is for you! You'll work with individuals who have intellectual, psychiatric, and/or physical disabilities. You're important because every day you help create a good living situation for our residents. We offer individual professional development based on your needs and the organization's needs. Come work with us—we look forward to your application! We're now seeking a new team member for our residential facility located in Munksund. It's an LSS residential home with six younger residents with varying disabilities. Responsibilities You provide practical support and guide and motivate residents to foster participation in their daily lives. The goal is to support and enable a good living situation based on each individual's needs and resources. Your work includes planning, documenting, and following up on interventions together with the resident and your colleagues. You participate in workplace meetings and method meetings, and you're responsible for developing and working according to residents' implementation plans. We use various methods such as structured teaching and low-arousal approaches. Qualifications You have completed upper secondary education, such as a Care and Support Program or Child and Recreation Program, or other educational background in pedagogy that the employer considers equivalent. It's advantageous if you have knowledge of documentation, experience working with this target group, and experience with structured teaching and low-arousal approaches (LAB). Working with individuals with disabilities requires strong competence based on personal suitability, collaboration, maturity, flexibility, and work experience. About the Position Permanent employment at 100%, day/evening/weekend shifts. Start date: November 16, 2026, or by agreement.
