We are now looking for a residential assistant for Psykiatriboende Mellangården. Here you will work closely with young adults and be an important presence during the night. Together with a colleague, you ensure that the operations run as they should and that the residents have someone to turn to when needs arise. Mellangården is part of Bräcke diakoni's activities in Bräcke Park in Göteborg, where several operations together create a larger context for both employees and residents.

The role also includes practical tasks, documentation, and handing over important information to colleagues who take over in the morning.
The job includes, among other things:
Being available to residents during the night
Supportive conversations and identifying anxiety and needs
Medication management based on delegation
Practical tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintenance of common areas
Documentation and shift handover to colleagues
Following safety routines together with a colleague and maintaining a secure living environment
At Mellangården
Mellangården is a psychiatric residential facility with 16 short-term places for young adults between 18 and 35 years old with mental health and neuropsychiatric disabilities. The facility is drug-free and staffed 24/7. We work with individually tailored residential rehabilitation to strengthen each person's opportunities for a more independent life.
Mellangården is part of Bräcke diakoni, a mission-driven organization providing care and support services. In Göteborg, our functional support activities are located in Bräcke Park, which gives you a larger context with different expertise and experience nearby. As a mission-driven organization, we reinvest our surplus into operations, and as an employee you are covered by a collective agreement with pension, insurance, and secure conditions.
