If so, the role of press brake operator might be right for you. We are now recruiting a press brake operator for our client in Trollhättan.
About the Position
As a press brake operator, you will set up, program, and operate press brake machines to form and process metal components. You work from drawings, measurements, and work instructions, ensuring that finished parts meet the required standards for quality, dimensions, and execution.
The role includes inspecting material, measuring finished parts, and adjusting machine settings as needed. You are also responsible for basic maintenance and cleaning of machines and work equipment, as well as reporting any deviations, faults, and production disruptions.
About You
Formal Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and has a technical interest. You have strong blueprint reading skills and can work from measurements and work instructions. You have an eye for detail and quality, as well as good problem-solving abilities.
You are comfortable with hands-on work in a production environment and can plan your work, take initiative, and work both independently and collaboratively with other production team members.
Merits
It is a plus if you have experience in workshop or manufacturing industry, press brake machines, sheet metal processing, industrial production, or work as a machine operator. Experience with measurement techniques is also a merit, as are forklift and overhead crane certifications.
