With the merger, we are building a shared school leadership for both schools and are now seeking an assistant principal who wants to help shape the new organization together with the principal, from preschool class through grade 9. Responsibilities As assistant principal with us, you are part of the school leadership for both schools and are a close collaborator with the principal, work teams, and student welfare in leading and developing the operation. The role includes: Pedagogical Leadership – lead and support teachers and work teams in teaching and development work, with a focus on high goal achievement and a safe learning environment Personnel Responsibility – have responsibility for working environment, personnel, and budget for part of the operation, including employee meetings, salary discussions, and recruitment Systematic Quality Work – drive and follow up on systematic quality work together with the principal and other school leadership Student Welfare and Safety – collaborate with the student welfare team on extra adjustments, special support, and preventive, health-promoting student welfare work Cultural Profile – contribute to making the schools' shared cultural profile, with music, dance, drama, and creativity, a natural part of teaching and school life Collaboration – collaborate with guardians, the school board, and external partners on matters relating to students' schooling Development Work – actively participate in building routines, structures, and a shared culture in the new, merged organization What We Offer varied, responsible, and stimulating work with opportunities for your own development a smoke-free and health-conscious workplace.
