We are now recruiting a driven and committed Assistant Principal to Kunskapsskolan Jönköping who, together with the Principal and leadership team, wants to lead and develop our school.

The role involves shared leadership responsibility where the main focus is on school development, pedagogical leadership, and the daily work as an Assistant Principal. Depending on your background and the school's needs, the role can also be supplemented with some teaching.

About the position and your responsibilities
As Assistant Principal, you work closely with the school's Principal to realize Kunskapsskolan's vision, values, and pedagogical model. You ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with national regulations, Lgr22, local quality plans, and Kunskapsskolan's processes.
In your work, you will, among other things:
Lead and develop the pedagogical work in daily operations.
Be actively present in the school to support, challenge, and provide continuous feedback to staff.
Drive systematic quality work and follow up, analyze, and evaluate student knowledge results and goal fulfillment.
Involve staff in the school's development work and create ownership of goals.
Build strong and trusting relationships with students, staff, and guardians.
Inform prospective students and guardians about the school and our pedagogy.
Collaborate with other Kunskapsskolan schools and participate in network/cluster meetings to contribute to overall development.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with courage, structure, and skilled pedagogical leadership. You are confident in yourself, action-oriented, and have an easy time building good relationships. You have the ability to inspire your staff and take clear responsibility for student safety, study environment, and results.
We are looking for someone who:
Has a pedagogical higher education (e.g., certified teacher) and experience working in primary school.
Is well familiar with Lgr22, school regulations, and systematic quality work.
Has a relational, inclusive, and solution-focused approach.
Is a communicative leader with good collaboration skills.
Meritorious:
Leadership experience from school (e.g., as Assistant Principal, lead teacher, or work team leader).
Started or completed principal training.
Special education degree or extensive experience with special education work is advantageous.

Kunskapsskolan Jönköping is a primary school for grades 4–9. The school was founded in 2011 and is beautifully located between Jönköping and Huskvarna with a view over Vättern. About the position
The position is a permanent employment on a full-time basis (100%) with a probationary period. Start date is by agreement.
