Fröslundaskolan is an elementary school (grades F–6) with a KÖSU group (municipal special education unit) located in Fröslunda. We have small classes and work with language development across all subjects. Here you'll have time for each student and can make a difference for our students through your leadership and teaching. Our school requires engaged and competent educators who are skilled at building relationships and adapting instruction to meet students' needs. Our student support team consists of two special educators, two special education specialists, a school counselor, a social pedagogue, a school psychologist, and a school nurse. We have a strong network around our students. We also work to ensure students have an active and meaningful leisure time. We have, among other things, a full-time librarian, collaboration with the Culture School and sports associations. 1 position(s). DUTIES We are looking for an engaged and confident pedagogical leader who wants to be part of developing our school together with students, staff, and school management. For us, relationships, learning, and a safe school environment are important parts of daily life. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and support staff in their pedagogical work. You lead work teams, have personnel responsibility for parts of the operations, and contribute to a good work environment by being present, responsive, and clear. You coach, handle challenges, and create conditions for staff to succeed. You also have an important role in the school's student support work and actively work for safety and study focus. Together with colleagues, you drive the school's pedagogical development and systematic quality work by following up on results, analyzing needs, and creating learning together. The role also includes responsibility for resource allocation, schedule planning, collaboration, and administrative tasks in close cooperation with the principal and administrative director. We are looking for you who are passionate about students' development, enjoy leading others, and want to contribute to a school where both students and staff can grow. QUALIFICATIONS You have an academic education of at least three years with a pedagogical focus, preferably with teaching certification. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and feel comfortable using various IT tools as a natural part of your work. We would like to see that you have experience from elementary school and that you have previously had the opportunity to lead others in a development or change process, for example as a work team leader, lead teacher, school administrator, or in a similar role. A leadership education is considered a merit. We want you to be familiar with the school's governing documents, curriculum, and school law. Experience in student support work and meeting and handling challenging student matters is valuable, as is experience with systematic quality work including documentation, follow-up, and data analysis.
