We are looking for a driven and service-oriented assistant front office manager who wants to help develop our hotel operations in Mariestad. The role is both operational and managerial. You work actively at the front desk while supporting the front office manager and helping to lead the daily operations. When the front office manager is not on-site, you take responsibility for running the front desk and ensure that guests, staff, and routines function at their best. Responsibilities Lead and allocate daily front desk work. Work operationally with check-ins and check-outs, bookings, payments, phone calls, and emails. Provide professional service and handle guest inquiries and complaints. Support, introduce, and follow up with front desk staff. Ensure that routines, quality, and safety standards are followed. Collaborate with housekeeping, breakfast, restaurant, and other departments. Work actively with sales, upselling, and achieving high occupancy rates. Take responsibility for the front desk when the front office manager is absent. We are looking for you who Have experience from hotel reception or similar service operations. Are confident, solution-oriented, and can make quick decisions. Can lead others while actively working in operations yourself. Are organized and stay calm during busy periods. Speak and write Swedish and English. Have good computer skills and preferably experience with hotel and booking systems. Can work flexibly during days, evenings, and weekends.
