Assistant Manager for residential care home in Lund – Full-time
Arendalagården is a residential care home in Lund for young people aged 15–19 with challenging behavior. We have 9 placements and 10-12 staff members.
We work evidence-based using MI, A-CRA, and rePULSE as core methodologies, with strong emphasis on methodological fidelity and regular supervision. We apply trauma-informed care, salutogenesis, and low-arousal approaches.
As Assistant Manager, you are the manager's closest support and deputy. You work closely with both staff and young people – the role is operational, not administrative at a distance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations and provide methodological support to treatment staff
- Step in as manager during their absence
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and onboarding of new employees
- Monitor quality and documentation: implementation plans, case documentation, internal audits, and incident management according to the management system
- Participate in lex Sarah procedures and systematic improvement work
- Oversee admissions, follow-ups, and ongoing contact with placing social services
- Ensure compliance with SoL, LVU, and IVO requirements
- Participate in treatment work and provide [key worker duties/on-call coverage] as needed
Requirements:
- University degree of at least 180 credits in social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or equivalent as assessed by the employer
- Experience working in residential care homes or similar settings
- Strong knowledge of SoL, LVU, documentation requirements, and management systems for systematic quality work (SOSFS 2011:9)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish
- Valid driving license (category B)
Meritorious:
