Welcome to Kungsljuset, a special residential facility in Kvarnsveden in Borlänge municipality with 47 places, of which 20 are dementia care places. We employ nurses, nursing assistants, care aides, and staff in food service and facility maintenance. At Kungsljuset, we place great emphasis on community and daily activities. We offer, among other things, walks, seated exercise, bingo, spa, circle gym, and read-alouds. We also have animals at the facility that contribute to well-being and community. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As assistant unit manager at Kungsljuset, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the unit. Together with the unit manager, you are responsible for personnel, finances, and operations. The unit manager is responsible for the overall strategic responsibility for the operation. You participate in planning, monitoring, and developing the operation and help ensure that the operation is conducted with good quality, efficiency, and in accordance with applicable legislation and guidelines. Your assignment includes coaching nursing care staff and group leaders in daily work using a coaching approach. Another important assignment is to develop work methods and routines to ensure good quality in the care and services we provide to the people of Borlänge. QUALIFICATIONS Basic requirements for the position: • Ongoing or completed higher education in an area the employer deems relevant for the position • Experience working in care and services or in healthcare • Experience in a supervisory function • Very good oral and written skills in Swedish. Desirable qualifications: • Completed Borlänge municipality's aspiring leaders program or other leadership training • Experience with Lifecare and/or Heroma operational systems • Experience in dementia care and/or elderly care • Experience in change management and/or development work • Experience in systematic workplace environment work, both theoretical and practical Salary form: Monthly salary.
