Coop Karlshamn is now looking for an engaged and business-driven Assistant Store Manager for the Coop Österport store. As Assistant Store Manager at Coop Österport, you are responsible for sales within a delegated area of responsibility in the store. You work both operationally and in a coaching capacity, leading daily sales work, driving sales, ensuring routines and making sure the store provides inspiration every day. Who are you? The work is physical and involves heavy lifting, which you see as a natural part of working in a grocery store. Your main responsibilities Lead daily sales work in your area of responsibility (and the entire store when needed) Create an inspiring, sales-driven store environment. Ensure efficient operations through inventory management, price maintenance and organization. Work with margins and product placement on promotional tables and end caps. Handle cashier duties as needed. Perform baking one morning per week. Follow up on sales, budget, margins and key metrics. Contribute to ensuring Coop's sustainability policy is followed and participate in quality and safety work related to Coop Self-inspection. In the store manager's absence, you lead the work for the store as a whole. The position is a permanent full-time employment at 38.25 h/week with start date by agreement. Working hours vary but are mostly daytime shifts; every other weekend is the plan but the schedule is negotiable. We apply a probationary period.
