We are now seeking an engaged and development-focused Assistant Chief of Child and Student Health who wants to drive the development of our special education work in the municipality. With us, you will be part of the central child and student health team and work closely with the Chief of Child and Student Health, school principals, and our student health professionals. Your Assignment As Assistant Chief of Child and Student Health, you have strategic and operational responsibility for developing the central child and student health services and strengthening the quality of the municipality's comprehensive student health work. The role combines strategic development work with close support to the operations and carries significant responsibility for creating an equitable, accessible, and health-promoting child and student health service. The position includes personnel management responsibilities. You are responsible for admission processes and coordinate transitions between school levels, lead the implementation of new legal requirements, reforms, and governing documents within the operational area. You also analyze and monitor schools' work with support measures and contribute to the development of accessible learning environments. The role also includes driving systematic quality work and operational monitoring, collaborating with school principals and external partners, and planning and implementing strategic competence development. Together, we develop the work of the central child and student health services and strengthen support to the municipality's preschools and schools. As Assistant Chief of Child and Student Health, you are the Chief of Child and Student Health's closest collaboration partner, serve as a support in leading the operations, and represent the services in various networks and development forums. The position offers great opportunities to influence the long-term development of child and student health in Trosa Municipality. Who Are You? We are seeking a confident leader with strong commitment to children's and students' learning, development, and well-being. You have several years of experience in student health work and are driven by developing services together with others. You have: A special education degree or other relevant degree and experience that corresponds to the qualification Experience in student health and special education work Experience leading development projects Good knowledge of the Education Act and governing documents Very strong ability to communicate in speech and writing Class B driving license It is a merit if you have: Previous management or leadership experience Experience with systematic quality work Experience with change management Experience with municipal operations As a Person We are seeking a leader who is confident and development-oriented.
