We are now recruiting a Support Officer for Individual and Family Services!
About the Operations
The support unit has a total of 8 case officers responsible for processing and making decisions under the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS). Daily work is led and distributed by the group leader for the support unit.
Job Responsibilities
As a Support Officer, your primary task is to assist individuals in accessing appropriate services in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS). Your responsibilities include receiving applications, conducting investigations, assessing and deciding on appropriate services, as well as following up on already approved services.
An important part of working as a Support Officer is maintaining good cooperation with internal and external partners. You will be responsible for your own cases according to our case allocation system. When applicable, you will also be responsible for discharge processes from healthcare services and care planning at the short-term care unit.
We assess needs according to IBIC and use the LifeCare business system.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another degree that the employer deems equivalent. Knowledge of social law is important for this position.
You understand the importance of lawful and efficient case processing, ensuring the individual's right to reasonable living conditions, of course while respecting self-determination and integrity.

A category B driver's license is required.
