About the Job Are you an experienced interim manager/social worker looking for new challenges and opportunities on a long or short-term basis as a consultant? Then we are looking for you We are currently seeking a unit manager for the social services authority's operations for children and young people. This assignment is a good fit if you have extensive management experience from social services and are confident in handling complex cases. About the Assignment • Role: Unit Manager, child and youth authority operations • Period: September 1–December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension in two-month increments up to three times • Scope: up to 16 hours per week What does Medcura offer? Qualifications The assignment involves ensuring legally sound case handling, a productive work environment, and stable management in an operation with high case complexity and many external contacts – legal representatives, supervisory authorities, police, schools, and healthcare. The role includes staff supervision and responsibility for ensuring that decisions and documentation maintain high legal quality. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in social work or other relevant education • Management experience from similar operations in the recent past, minimum 5 years of experience in a management position within social services • Good knowledge of administrative law, public access and confidentiality legislation, and municipal operations • Experience with complex cases involving high conflict levels, external review, and supervision Meritorious • Previous assignments as interim manager within social services or other authority-based operations • Experience with Lifecare Application Your application awaits us.
