Together we create safe and quality care and social services for our residents. We are now looking for a Benefits Specialist for the SoL team. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a Benefits Specialist you work close to people in different life situations and help shape interventions that make a real difference for our residents. The work is both independent and team-based, and you get to use your expertise to find solutions that are both sustainable and legally sound. In the SoL team, we are divided into different geographic areas, where you are responsible for receiving, investigating and assessing incoming applications for support and services under the Social Services Act (SoL). Your job responsibilities include: • Receive applications under SoL and investigate the individual's need for assistance. • Make decisions on interventions or rejections based on the results of the investigation. • Collaborate with customers, family members and other professional actors. • Follow up and evaluate interventions to ensure good quality. • Work independently with your own cases, but also close to colleagues in the team. As a Benefits Specialist, work may be located within the team where there are needs in the operations. QUALIFICATIONS Who are you? REQUIREMENTS We are looking for you who have: • A degree in Social Work, Behavioral Science or other education that the employer deems equivalent. • A Category B driver's license. QUALIFICATIONS • Previous experience in benefits administration.
