The Social Services Administration is responsible for public administration, commissioning services, and in-house operations within individual and family care, LSS (disability services), and social psychiatry. Your Tasks We are now seeking several Assistance Assessors with a specialization in social psychiatry for the Adult Division at the Social Services Administration. With us, you will be part of an engaged, development-oriented, and supportive work group consisting of assistance assessors, senior social secretaries, and a unit manager. The unit's tasks include handling cases according to the Social Services Act, which involves investigating, following up on services, and documentation work. The work also includes motivational work (MI) as well as providing information and guidance to clients and cooperation partners. Important elements include collaboration internally within the administration and externally with other relevant actors such as service providers and healthcare services. The unit also handles applications for assistance in cases of acute homelessness. With us, you will meet adults in vulnerable situations, where no two days are alike. Your Workplace The unit is part of the Adult Division within the Social Services Administration. Within the division, there are also specializations that work with public administration in areas such as substance abuse, criminal matters, LSS, and housing issues, which is a great asset in cases requiring interdisciplinary collaboration. The division also includes several operations that work with delivering various support services that have been approved. The unit consists of two specializations, one in social psychiatry and the other in individual and family care. These two specializations work closely together in daily operations. As an Assistance Assessor specialized in social psychiatry, there is a unit manager and a senior social secretary. We have flexible working hours, with working time scheduled on weekdays from 07:50-17:00. There is an opportunity to work remotely by agreement when deemed appropriate based on operational needs and personal circumstances. We work activity-based, and the workplace is located at Drottninggatan 45. About You We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or a behavioral science degree that the employer deems suitable. We consider it an advantage if you have completed courses in social law, social work, administrative law, and psychology. We also consider it an advantage if you have experience with public administration work and working within social psychiatry. For the role, we consider it an advantage if you have completed training in MI. As an Assistance Assessor, you are required to have a category B driving license or be in the final stages of your driving license training, as travel is part of the job. We also see that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as the position involves both internal and external contacts with accompanying documentation. It is an advantage if you have previous knowledge of the IBIC method. To thrive and succeed in the role, it is important that you have a driven and engaged approach. Calmness and stability characterize your way of handling stressful situations, where you have the ability to distinguish between the private and the professional. Furthermore, you have good analytical skills and are skilled at prioritizing, planning, and taking responsibility for your tasks.
