Boxholm municipality is now seeking a social services assessor who wants to strengthen quality, legal certainty, and development within individual and family care. Together we drive the transition toward a more accessible, preventive, and sustainable social service – based on the new Social Services Act.

About the role
We are in the middle of an important development journey where we review and strengthen our working methods. As a social services assessor, you'll have a central role in this work and become an important part of driving and developing quality in the operations.
You'll have the opportunity to combine qualified authority work with an active responsibility to develop and strengthen quality in the operations and drive improvements in working methods and processes.
As a social services assessor, you work with authority functions according to the Social Services Act (SoL), with elderly people as your target group. The assignment also includes case handling related to the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), where good knowledge and understanding of the legislation is important.
The position also includes:
Handling and assessment of services according to SoL
Handling of transportation service matters
Estate administration
Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Active participation in change and development work related to the new Social Services Act

Qualifications
We're looking for someone with a degree in social work or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience with authority functions according to SoL and knowledge within LSS and IBIC. Experience with transportation services and estate administration is meritorious but not required.
You are:
Confident in your role as a social services assessor in making decisions and working in a politically governed organization
Structured, responsible, and professional with the ability for self-leadership
Engaged in quality development and have a desire to contribute to improvement and development
Interested in development work and new working methods as well as environmental awareness
Proficient in expressing yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
Selection and interviews take place on an ongoing basis.
