Our Operations Clinical Chemistry and Pharmacology (KKF) is part of Akademiska Laboratory at Akademiska Hospital. We conduct highly specialized diagnostics around the clock and offer qualified guidance in chemistry and pharmacology. Within the operation, approximately 140 employees work, and we strive to be an attractive workplace characterized by professionalism, collaboration, quality, and development. Your Assignment As a biomedical analyst in clinical chemistry and pharmacology, you are offered qualified and varied work in a high-tech laboratory environment. Work tasks include independent laboratory work, including pre-analytical work, assessment, and technical approval of analyses. You will have a primary focus on one of our specialized analysis laboratories and will primarily work with cell and molecular biological methods, genotyping, flow cytometry, and immunochemical analyses such as ELISA and RIA. The role also includes responsibility for contributing to diagnostics, education, information, and quality assurance within the operation. Your Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical analyst. It is a merit if you have experience with similar work tasks from other hospital laboratories. Furthermore, it is a merit to have knowledge within cell biology, PCR, genetics where good manual handling is required. You have good collaboration skills, a humble approach, and share your knowledge with others. The work involves varying pace and requires the ability to quickly get up to speed on new work tasks and to be able to work both independently and in a group. Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement for the position as the work includes communication, documentation, and quality assurance in Swedish. To succeed in the role, you are analytical, collaboration-oriented, stable, and curious. We offer the opportunity to contribute to method development and quality work. Start date by agreement. A trial period may apply. Following completed training, the position includes daytime work (Monday – Friday, 8:00–16:45). Once you are settled into the work, there is an opportunity to work on-call shifts (evenings and weekends). With regular work during inconvenient hours, a fixed salary supplement and compensation per inconvenient work shift apply, in addition to regular on-call and overtime compensation.
