Welcome to a clinic in constant development with a focus on quality. Laboratory Medicine has operations in both Karlshamn and Karlskrona. The operations include transfusion medicine, clinical chemistry, and clinical pathology & cytology distributed across 5 departments.

The clinic has approximately 120 employees distributed across many different professions. The operations have been accredited according to ISO 15189 for many years. At Clinical Chemistry in Karlskrona, approximately 40 people work, including Biomedical Analysts, laboratory assistants, physicians, chemists, and nursing assistants.
About the Job
Due to upcoming retirements, we are seeking new biomedical analysts for our laboratory. With us, you will have the opportunity to work in an advanced, technical, and highly educational environment. We place great emphasis on individually tailored introduction to give you the best conditions for your work. You work independently and make your own decisions while working as part of a team.
In clinical chemistry, work tasks consist mainly of sample analysis and delivery of test results in various areas such as coagulation, hematology, chemistry, immunology, protein, flow cytometry, cell morphology, etc. After introduction, there is an opportunity to specialize within one of our processes.
The position includes duties at the blood bank. Working hours are daytime, and after introduction, the position also includes evening, weekend, and eventually night shift work.
The position is filled subject to necessary decisions being made.
About You
We are looking for you who are a licensed Biomedical Analyst.

You have the ability to communicate information and see it as a matter of course that you support and help each other when needed. You are service-oriented toward the laboratory's customers and enjoy finding new solutions in your daily work and contribute constructive suggestions for improvements. To qualify for the position of biomedical analyst with us, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
