SIA "Daugavpils reģionālā slimnīca" Our laboratory's clinical diagnostic department is a large laboratory that provides 24x7 services to inpatient and outpatient clients. We invite you to join our team of biomedical laboratory technicians (professional classification code 321203) Job Responsibilities: • Perform testing in accordance with methods and instructions approved in the laboratory • Ensure the accuracy of obtained results and compliance with testing procedures • Ensure operation of testing equipment in accordance with technical requirements and occupational safety standards • Ensure use of reagents and laboratory supplies in accordance with instructions and occupational safety requirements • Register, evaluate, and label received test material • Participate in laboratory internal and external quality control programs • Comply with laboratory work regulations and organizational procedures Requirements: • First-level professional higher education or secondary specialized education (paramedic-laboratory technician, biomedical laboratory technician) • Biomedical laboratory technician certification and registration in the healthcare professionals register • Excellent proficiency in the state language • Desirable practical work experience in a laboratory technician position • Positive and energetic attitude toward work, ability to take responsibility and work in a team • Ability to work shift duties (including weekends and nights) We Offer: • Employment in a development-oriented company • Professional growth opportunities • Opportunity to combine with additional work Work Location: Vasarnīcu iela 20, Daugavpils Work Schedule: Shift work (24-hour on-call duties) Gross Salary: 1200.00 EUR Candidates must submit the following documents: • Motivational cover letter • Curriculum vitae (CV) • Copies of documents certifying education and qualifications • State language proficiency certificate (if required) Please send your CV and motivational cover letter with the notation "Application for Biomedical Laboratory Technician Position" electronically to: [email protected] by September 30, 2026 inclusive.
