Job opportunity for librarian (Municipal vacancy) Siguldas novada bibliotēka (Reg. no. 40900037547) is hiring a librarian (profession code 3433 01) for Lēdurgas bibliotēka for an indefinite period. Main job responsibilities: Librarian duties (workload): serve library users; participate in building the printed materials collection; organize reading promotion activities; provide quality service to individuals and legal entities at the Lēdurgas state and municipal unified customer service center (hereinafter – VPVKAC); ensure the range of public administration services offered by VPVKAC, providing assistance and support in service applications; accept and register documents in the electronic document management system. Requirements for candidates: higher academic, higher professional, secondary specialized education in library work or higher academic, higher professional, secondary specialized, secondary education and a certificate of completion of further education courses in library work; excellent knowledge of Latvian language; general knowledge of literature; excellent computer skills (MS Office, information systems, office equipment); communication skills, accuracy, responsibility, creativity, and positive attitude; understanding of municipal and public administration work and services provided by them; desired experience working with BIS ALISE and electronic document management system.
