Vetenskapens Hus is a collaboration between KTH and Stockholm University working to increase STEM interest among children and young people. We are looking for someone who wants to gain teaching experience while studying. Job Responsibilities You will receive school classes for hands-on educational programs with us in one of the subjects: chemistry, physics, biology, technology, and mathematics. After training, you will independently teach student groups in both primary and secondary school. All activities take place at our facilities at AlbaNova and in Bergianska trädgården. You will serve as an ambassador for the universities and your subject, and be a role model for students who may consider pursuing higher education in the future. Work takes place during school hours, so we are primarily looking for someone studying part-time or with a flexible study schedule. You will have significant influence over which times you are available for work. Some weekend and summer work may be possible by agreement. About the Position As a visitor instructor at Vetenskapens Hus, you have what is called an intermittent employment. This means you are hired for each individual occasion and receive hourly compensation. The number of work opportunities offered varies based on needs.
