Vetenskapens Hus is a collaboration between KTH and Stockholm University working to increase STEM interest among children and young people. Vetenskapens Hus Kista is our newly opened branch in Electrumhuset, where we work to increase and broaden interest in STEM in the Järva area. We are looking for you who want a pedagogical merit-building job alongside your studies.
Duties
You will receive school classes for hands-on educational programs with us in one of the subjects: astronomy, physics, and technology. You will, after training, independently teach student groups in both upper and lower secondary school. All activities take place in our premises in Electrumhuset. You will act as an ambassador for the universities, our partners, and your subject, as well as be a role model for students who may consider pursuing higher education in the future.
Work takes place primarily during school hours, but also some work during weekends and evenings. We are therefore primarily looking for you with a flexible schedule for your studies. Requirements
You must be admitted to and be an active student in a program at KTH or Stockholm University
Good Swedish language skills, as our activities are conducted in Swedish.
Meritorious

Application
You apply through KTH's recruitment system. In your application, you specify which subject(s) you would like to work with and how much you would like to work. A work assignment is normally 2-4 hours and scheduled either in the morning or afternoon. As an applicant, you have primary responsibility for ensuring your application is complete when submitted. The application must be received by KTH no later than the final application deadline at midnight, CET/CEST (Central European Time/Central European Summer Time).
About the Employment
As a visitor guide at Vetenskapens Hus, you have what is called an intermittent employment. This means you are hired for each individual occasion and receive hourly compensation. The number of work assignments offered varies and depends on need. This means that if needed, you will be offered individual, short-term employment occasions.
