Tasks and Responsibilities As a process engineer at EBP, you'll have a key role between customer, technology, and production. You'll be involved from the initial discussions about new parts and follow the work all the way through until production is ready to start. The role is about creating conditions for efficient, robust, and quality-assured manufacturing. You contribute your technical expertise in quotation work, drive the preparation of new products, and ensure that production solutions, methods, and processes are thoroughly worked through before they reach the shop floor. In your daily work, you collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and internal functions such as production, quality, and project management. You become a natural coordinator in matters concerning technical solutions and manufacturing conditions. When new challenges arise, you're an important part of analyzing, prioritizing, and finding the way forward. Your main tasks: • Drive preparation and industrialization of new parts • Participate in and lead quotation preparations • Ensure production setup within BiW, pressing, assembly, ED (KTL), and powder coating • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal specialist functions • Conduct technical discussions with geometry assurance engineers and dimension responsible persons • Participate in planning activities and development work • Contribute to team and case management meetings • Help develop working methods and processes for future production Your Profile You have a technical background and experience from manufacturing industry, preferably within automotive or related operations. You understand how products and processes interact and feel comfortable in environments where quality, precision, and delivery reliability are critical. We'd like to see that you have: • Engineering education in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent experience • Good knowledge of BiW manufacturing processes • Ability to read and understand product and tool design drawings • Experience with CAD environments, preferably CATIA • Several years of experience with process planning, industrialization, or production technical work • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written To succeed in the role, we believe you: • Have a natural ability to create structure and drive matters forward.
