Are you at the beginning of your legal career and want to work in a dynamic environment? The prosecutor's office in Lund is now seeking a preparatory legal counsel.
Your Responsibilities
As a preparatory legal counsel, you will perform legal work together with prosecutors. You will assist them in their work and participate in preparation work during criminal investigations and in preparing various prosecutorial decisions. Furthermore, you will help monitor certain of the prosecutors' tasks, propose measures, and participate in various collaboration meetings. You may also assist prosecutors at court proceedings. As a preparatory legal counsel, you will also assist prosecutors and case handlers with various administrative matters.
The workday is event-driven and incoming matters can arrive quickly, requiring you to make fast decisions and assess what is urgent.
Your Qualities and Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has completed or is nearing completion of your legal education. Upon taking office as a preparatory legal counsel, you must have completed your law degree.

It is meritorious if you have gained experience with criminal cases through studies, internships, or work during or after your studies.
About the Employment
The employment is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period.
The requirement for this position is that you hold a Nordic law degree.
