Professionals Nord is seeking, in collaboration with our client, a Lighting Technician / Excavator Operator for operations in Västerås. Our client is an established contracting company in the energy and power sector that works to build, maintain, and develop sustainable and future-proof energy solutions. We are looking for you from one of two backgrounds. Perhaps you work as an electrician or lighting technician today and have an interest in machinery and ground work. Or you are an experienced excavator operator with technical interests and would like to expand your knowledge in electrical work and lighting. The most important thing is that you enjoy practical fieldwork and want to develop together with the organization.
This assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant for our client. The intention is that you could eventually become directly employed by the client, provided all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Responsibilities
In this role, you work in the field with installation, maintenance, and development of lighting systems. Your tasks will vary depending on your previous experience and may include both machinery operation and ground work as well as more electrical work tasks.
You will work with:
Operating excavators for ground work, cable work, and installation projects
Excavation, earthworks, and site restoration
Replacement and installation of foundations and lighting poles
Rounds, maintenance, and inspection of lighting systems
Cable work and practical work related to installation and repair
Handling of vehicles, machinery, and tools in daily work
Risk assessments and documentation related to completed work
We are looking for you who
Have experience as an excavator operator, machinery operator, electrician, or lighting technician
Have experience with excavators and ground work and/or knowledge of electrical work
Hold a valid driver's license (category B)
Communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you have:
Category C driver's license
Experience in lighting, power, cable work, or ground and installation work
Training in AMS and/or ESA
