Description We at the Adult Unit, Individual and Family Care Services in Vänersborg are expanding our service delivery team and are looking for more treatment secretaries who want to work in our outpatient care operations! The target groups we serve include adults with various forms of harmful use and addiction, intimate partner violence, other violence/threats, as well as individuals who have left criminal activities and crime victims. If you're interested in an inspiring and varied assignment, you could be the person we're looking for! The Adult Unit consists of an investigation team and a service delivery team, as well as a unit manager. Day-to-day work in each team is led and distributed by a senior social secretary and two senior treatment secretaries who also oversee methodological supervision. We offer you a position with thoughtful onboarding, continuous internal methodological supervision, and external process supervision. We also offer several benefits to our employees, such as the opportunity to take four trust days per year to strengthen reflection and recovery. In addition, we have a flexible working hours agreement. On our unit, we prioritize having a good, developmental, and pleasant work environment where we take pride in the qualified work we conduct to meet our users' needs. Since we in Vänersborg want accessible outpatient care services, and because we know that many of the users we serve need support outside of "office hours," all our treatment secretaries work scheduled hours. For us, it is therefore important that you have genuine commitment to the work and understand the value of providing conversation support in the evenings and weekends, and that you have the capacity to work according to a schedule. Currently, we work one in five weekends and on average one evening per week. A message from those of us who work here: "What we appreciate most about working at the Adult Unit is that there are good opportunities to make everyday life work together with family life. We have great freedom to plan and organize our own work, while taking responsibility for the assignment together. Here, development and learning are encouraged through investments in competency development, which means we constantly have the opportunity to grow in our professional roles. We also value the practical benefits, such as free parking and the opportunity for flexible vacation scheduling. Equally important is the sense of community that exists in the workplace. Throughout the year, we're offered several social activities and opportunities to get together, which contributes to a pleasant work environment and good cohesion in the group." Work Tasks The Adult Unit's service delivery team is responsible for, among other things, carrying out various forms of outpatient care services aimed at the target group of adults with harmful use/addiction, and to some extent services related to intimate partner violence. We will also increasingly serve youth/young adults with other forms of social difficulties. The foundation of the work is psychosocial support and pedagogical conversations/methods, and as a treatment secretary with us, you will work methodically together with other team members to make a difference in our users' daily lives. The service delivery team works largely with services that do not require needs assessment (IUB), but also with services based on support decisions. Regardless of how the service is initiated, it is the individual client's needs that determine how work in each case is planned and carried out. In cases where services are provided based on a support decision, the assignment from the unit's investigation team also provides direction for the case. We expect you to take significant responsibility for the work's organization, implementation, and quality. You will also work according to the goals, guidelines, and legislation that apply to the operations and your position as a treatment secretary. In our organization, we are also very committed to ensuring that IFO's and the unit's relationship goals and the social administration's employee principles are followed. As a treatment secretary, you work closely with clients, so it is important that you have a clear user focus and the ability to create good meetings and conversations with our users. On our unit, we actively work with implementation plans and goal monitoring based on assignments, and we also prioritize follow-ups of approved services together with users, social secretaries/investigation team, and possibly other service providers/stakeholders. Qualifications To be qualified for the position, you need to have a three-year university degree as a social worker, social pedagogue, or behavioral scientist (alternatively, another university degree that the employer considers appropriate for the position). If you have experience working with harmful use and addiction, intimate partner violence, or authority work, and for example, training in MI, ÅP, HAP, CRA, or other support/treatment methods, this is a merit but not a requirement. You need to be able to work in a structured manner, have genuine commitment to our target groups, and a flexible and solution-focused approach. The most important qualities and abilities for this work are responsibility, independence, courage, and curiosity, and the position requires you to have a very strong ability to independently prioritize and work in a team. Something fundamental to working as a treatment secretary with us is that you can express yourself well and with nuance in both speech and writing, and that you enjoy documenting and understand the importance of documentation. You must also be able to complement and contribute to continued development and dynamics in the team and unit otherwise, so we will place great emphasis on personal suitability. A category B driver's license is a requirement. If this sounds like a job for you, we warmly welcome your application! Interviews may be conducted on an ongoing basis during the application period. Other Information We see diversity as a strength that enriches our activities and welcome applicants with different backgrounds. If you have protected personal information, please contact the contact person for the ad by phone and send your application by mail. The municipality has made active choices in this recruitment and therefore does not wish to be contacted with offers for advertising and recruitment assistance/competency mediation.
