We are looking for you to be a reliable adult and work with children in their residential care. We are currently seeking staff for a fixed-term position (work as needed). Recruitment is ongoing during the application period based on the activities' needs. About Us Creare omsorg- Allégatan consists of a Treatment Home with 5 places. The facility is located in Kil, approximately 20 minutes from Karlstad. The organization also includes a Treatment Home in Fagerås and outpatient services. The target group for the residential care is girls and boys aged 8-12 with behavioral challenges. Placement in the facility is made according to SoL or LVU. The placed children have at least 1-1 supervision during all waking hours. About the Work We work using environmental therapy based on behavioral science principles and use a low-affect and cognitive approach. As a treatment assistant, you should be able to create a safe environment for the children through a structured and meaningful daily routine. You build stable relationships with the children and actively engage with them daily to learn more about them. Based on care and implementation plans, you will plan and carry out treatment work with the placed children individually. We use methods including TMO - Trauma-Informed Care, CBT for children, TEJPING, MI - Motivational Interviewing, and rePULSE. You work according to an intervention schedule and document your work with the children in our record system. Your duties also include all practical tasks that arise in a home such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, ensuring children's hygiene, and guiding them in daily chores. You will also participate in the facility's development and improvement work aimed at strengthening quality and creating a good workplace. Ongoing internal training sessions and work-related meetings are held monthly. A collective agreement exists with Vårdföretagarna. About You You should have at least 2 years of post-secondary education in social work such as treatment assistant, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or similar education that the employer deems equivalent or higher according to applicable legislation on education requirements for treatment personnel at residential care homes. The work suits you if you can and want to work in a team with your colleagues to create safety and structure for the placed children. As a person, you are communicative and attentive. As a person, you are curious and take responsibility for your own part as well as for the children's. You strive to be a clear role model. You have the ability to set clear boundaries while remaining flexible in an eventful environment. Due to the nature of the work, good empathetic ability and a solution-focused approach are needed. You need to be genuinely interested in learning more about the children and their challenges. You have great patience in sometimes slow processes and in pressured situations. Good treatment of the children is something we value highly. You are welcome to be proactive, inspirational, and full of ideas. Your role in the facility allows and encourages your own initiatives. We are looking for you to express yourself well in speech and writing. The position requires good documentation skills. You should have a good ability to understand and analyze social processes and problems. You should have a work style characterized by engagement and drive. You should be able to take personal responsibility and work in a structured manner. You should find it easy to manage when conditions and planning change in your work. The work can be both mentally and physically demanding at times depending on the placed children's wellbeing. · Driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement. · Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
