We are looking for someone who can be a trusted adult and wants to work with children in their residential setting. We are currently seeking staff for a special fixed-term position (work as needed). Recruitment is ongoing throughout the application period. About Us Creare Care - Gästgivaregården consists of a Treatment Home with 4 places. The facility is located in Fagerås, approximately 30 minutes from Karlstad. The organization also includes a Treatment Home in Kil and outpatient care services. The target group for the residence is boys aged 12-15 with behavioral difficulties. Placement in the facility occurs according to SoL or LVU. The placed children have at least 1-1 staffing during all waking hours. About the Work We work using environmental therapy based on behavioral science principles and employ a low-emotional and cognitive approach. As a treatment assistant, you will create a safe environment for the children through a structured and meaningful daily routine. You build stable relationships with the children and actively seek to learn more about them each day. Based on care and implementation plans, you will plan and conduct treatment work with the placed children individually. We use methods such as TMO - Trauma-Informed Care, CBT for children, TEJPING, MI - Motivational Interviewing, and rePULSE. You work according to an intervention schedule and document your work with the children in a journal system. Work tasks also include all practical matters that arise in a home such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, ensuring children's hygiene, and guiding them in daily chores. You will also participate in the facility's development and change initiatives aimed at strengthening quality and creating a good workplace. As an employee, you participate in in-house training and other work-related meetings on a monthly basis. A collective agreement exists with Vårdföretagarna. About You You must have at least 2 years of post-secondary education in social work such as treatment assistant, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or similar education that the employer deems equivalent or higher according to applicable legislation on educational requirements for treatment staff at HVB homes. The work suits you if you can and want to work in a team with your colleagues to create safety and structure for the placed children. As a person, you are communicative and attentive. You are curious and take responsibility for your own part as well as for the children's. You strive to be a clear role model. You have the ability to set clear boundaries while remaining flexible in an eventful environment. Due to the nature of the work, good empathic ability is needed, and you are solution-focused. You need to be genuinely interested in learning more about the children and their challenges. You have plenty of patience in sometimes slow processes and in pressured situations. Good treatment of the children is something we highly value. You are welcome to be initiative-taking, inspiring, and full of ideas. Your role in the facility allows and encourages your own initiatives. We are looking for someone who can express yourself well in speech and writing. The position requires good documentation skills. You should have a good ability to understand and analyze social processes and problems. You should have a working approach characterized by commitment and drive. You should have the ability to take personal responsibility and work in a structured manner. You should find it easy to handle when conditions and planning change in the work. The work can be both mentally and physically demanding at times depending on the placed children's wellbeing. · A driver's license for a manual transmission is a requirement. · Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
