JOB DUTIES A childcare worker has an important role in creating a safe and developmental everyday for children in preschool. Through care, play and educational activities, the childcare worker supports children's learning, curiosity and social development. The assignment includes collaborating with colleagues and guardians, contributing to a positive and inclusive environment, and ensuring that each child feels seen, safe and encouraged to develop according to their own circumstances. QUALIFICATIONS • Strong ability to create security, participation and good relationships. • A warm, attentive and respectful demeanor. • Ability to collaborate in a work team and contribute to a positive work environment. • Knowledge of child development, learning and needs. • Good communication skills in interactions with children, guardians and colleagues. • Ability to take initiative, be flexible and adapt work according to the activities' and children's needs. • Sense of responsibility and ability to work in a structured manner. For this position, childcare worker training or equivalent education is required, as well as the ability to work based on the preschool's mission, values and governing documents.
