About the Assignment
As a substitute child care provider, you will work on a mobile basis in various facilities throughout either Borlänge, Hedemora, or Ludvika. You will cover for regular staff primarily during urgent needs and will be booked on short notice. The length of the assignment varies from single days to longer-term positions. You choose which days of the week you want to work, and we match you with assignments that fit your availability and qualifications.
Your Responsibilities
As a substitute at a preschool, the work is varied and involves typical child care provider tasks such as:
Conduct activities with children according to a plan.
Participate in planning, implementation, and follow-up of instruction and activities together with preschool teachers.
Assist in daily care work, such as meal times, rest periods, dressing and undressing, and outdoor activities.
Support children's social and emotional development through a conscious and attentive approach.
Build secure relationships and create an inclusive environment.
Document children's learning according to facility procedures.
Cooperate with colleagues, guardians, and external partners as needed.
Contribute to organized work methods and a good work environment.
Assist during meal times.
Your Qualifications
Completed child care provider training
Possess a complete upper secondary school diploma or equivalent
Experience working in preschool
Available to work at least 2 weekdays per week
Able to be booked for assignments the same morning
