We are now seeking an engaged childcare provider for our preschool Utforskaren in Lindesberg.
Utforskaren is part of Solberga Preschools and operates a preschool bus that is an important part of our activities. The position involves working both at the preschool and on the preschool bus, where children and educators travel together to different environments for play, learning, and discovery.
This is therefore not a position for you if you prefer to stay indoors at the preschool. You need to enjoy being outdoors – year-round and in all types of weather. The preschool bus gives us wonderful opportunities to use nature and the surrounding area as part of the children's education.
On the bus we work closely together, both practically and as a team. This requires that you enjoy collaboration, are unpretentious, and see what needs to be done. Everyone needs to pitch in to make the day work well for the children.
We are looking for someone who
is a trained childcare provider or has other experience we consider relevant
enjoys working outdoors and sees the opportunities nature offers as a learning environment
feels comfortable working closely with others
is reliable, responsible, and solution-focused
has a good rapport with children, parents, and colleagues
can take own initiative while also being part of a team
is genuinely flexible
For us, flexibility means being able to adjust when the day doesn't go as planned, helping where needed, and seeing solutions instead of problems. In an activity with a preschool bus, weather, the group of children, and other factors may sometimes require quick changes to the plan. Then you need to feel comfortable thinking on your feet and working with your colleagues to make the day work.
