About Flotten
Flotten is a family-run parent cooperative with a group of 19 wonderful children aged 1–6 years, organized into 2 work teams. We have been operating since 1983 on Bangatan in Majorna in our spacious facilities, with a focus on a toxin-free environment.
Our educators work inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, creating an inspiring, self-instructive, accessible, and age-appropriate environment where children can influence their own daily routines and take control of their learning during their time at preschool.

Job Responsibilities:
As a childcare worker with us, you are one of the most important adults in the children's lives. You ensure that their day at preschool is fun, safe, and educational. We offer a work environment where your skills and commitment are valued, and where you and your colleagues shape an environment that sees and affirms each child's potential. Since you will work in different teams, we consider it essential that you work well with others and are receptive to colleagues' suggestions and ideas. You help challenge children to seek knowledge and meet the goals in the preschool curriculum and Flotten's own objectives. Together with your colleagues, you drive and develop the work in accordance with governing documents. You will work with pedagogical documentation using the documentation tool Tyra, which provides excellent support for easily and quickly documenting different curriculum goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is attentive to children's needs and has a natural ability to create a sense of security, where an inclusive approach is self-evident so that everyone feels at home in the group. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy contributing to a positive work team. Since preschool life is constantly changing, you are solution-focused and meet small and large challenges with a positive attitude and calm confidence. It is self-evident to you that you have a relationship-based pedagogical approach.

We are therefore looking for someone with good communication skills and strong initiative.
