Your Assignment As a child care worker, you will primarily work with students in grades F-3. Together with teachers and the after-school team, you create a cohesive, safe, and developmental school day for our students. In close collaboration, you plan and structure the day with the goal of providing students with the best possible teaching and learning. During the school day, you are a present, active, and supportive educator in the classroom, in smaller teaching groups, and during breaks. After school, you actively participate and share responsibility for after-school activities together with the after-school team. You plan, implement, and evaluate activities based on established guidelines. You work from the understanding that after-school is part of the school's teaching, where activities are planned with a clear pedagogical purpose and linked to the school's themes and focus areas. Together, you create a safe and stimulating environment where students' social and pedagogical development are in focus, while activities are adapted to their interests, needs, and conditions. You are part of both the after-school team and the F-3 team, where you collaborate on students, planning, assessment, pedagogical development work, and systematic quality work. The assignment involves actively contributing to the school's quality work and development of the after-school program's teaching. Opening and closing of the after-school program is included in the position. Your Experience For this position, you must have: gymnasial or post-secondary education as a child care worker or equivalent experience working at a school with lower elementary students strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. It is advantageous if you also have: experience working as a child care worker in an after-school program experience working with students in need of extra accommodations and special support experience participating in the after-school program's development and quality work experience leading colleagues and pedagogical work within the after-school program experience working with students with ADHD/autism diagnoses experience supporting and working with students who have diabetes.
