Job Responsibilities As a childcare worker in Uddevalla municipality, you will play a crucial role in children's development and learning. You will work closely with colleagues to create inclusive and safe learning environments where children can grow and thrive. Your responsibilities include: participating in planning and implementing teaching, building trusting relationships with children and their families to promote positive development, observing and documenting children's development and needs, and adapting activities based on these insights. Qualifications To thrive and succeed as a childcare worker at Uddevalla municipality, we would like you to have the following qualifications: Education: You are trained as a childcare worker. Flexible: You are adaptable and can handle changes with a positive attitude. Stable: You are a safe and reliable adult that children can feel secure with. Collaboration Skills: You work well with colleagues and guardians/parents to create a stimulating environment for the children. Relationship Building: You have the ability to build positive relationships and create security for the children. Pedagogical Insight: You have a good understanding of children's development and learning, and can apply this in your professional practice. Holistic Perspective: You see the entire preschool's activities and are open to contributing to equitable preschools of high quality. Creative: You are resourceful and can find new and innovative working methods. For positions requiring teacher certification/diplomas/study certificates, these must be submitted before employment. Employment is contingent upon required decisions being made. For positions involving direct and regular contact with children and youth, as well as for activities under the LSS Act, care and support, healthcare, psychiatric care, and substance abuse care, a valid criminal record extract from the police must be shown or submitted before employment.
