Would you like to help ensure that pregnant women in Kiruna receive the best possible care and that the next generation gets the best possible start? Join our team at Kiruna Health Center! We are currently looking for two midwives for maternal care and the Youth Clinic. At Kiruna Health Center, midwives work with pregnant women and their families, as well as young people up to age 26 at the Youth Clinic. We are co-located and have close collaboration with child health services. What We're Looking For We are seeking a licensed midwife with experience in maternal care and/or youth clinic services. Experience with Cosmic and Cosmicbirth systems is a plus, as is cultural understanding and knowledge of minority languages in the area. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. You are confident and stable, self-motivated, and service-oriented. You work well collaboratively with others. What You'll Be Doing Maternal health work includes planned visits based on the BAS program for maternal health, preventive contraception counseling, cytology sampling, and telephone advice/scheduling and chat, where you serve as the first point of contact for maternal health services. At the youth clinic, you'll have both in-person and digital meetings with young people, as well as telephone counseling and chat. You'll collaborate with other staff members at the health center, within Region Norrbotten, and with Kiruna Municipality. One example is our partnership with the Family Center, where we regularly participate in various activities in our area. Start date as soon as possible by agreement. Selection and interviews take place on a rolling basis, and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
