Hudiksvall's midwifery clinic offers comprehensive care within maternal health, contraceptive counseling, and gynecological health checks in northern Hälsingland. Our services include both a midwifery clinic and a youth clinic in Hudiksvall and Ljusdal, where we collaborate closely to provide women and families with the best possible support.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as a midwife, you will meet women and families at different stages of life, playing an important part in promoting health and wellbeing. You will work independently and as part of a team, providing support and care to women of all ages.
As a midwife with us, you will work with, among other things:
• prenatal care, which includes medical baseline programs, fetal diagnostics, health education during pregnancy, and psychosocial work
• providing support in parenting and parenting groups with childbirth and parenting preparation
• family planning at the individual level, which includes contraceptive counseling and STI prevention
• gynecological cervical screening to prevent cervical cancer
• public health work and conversations about lifestyle matters.
