At Olaus Petri health center, we have a team of competent, professional, and experienced midwives. We are now seeking a midwife as one of our current team members has chosen to pursue studies to become a teacher. We have a strong interest and great commitment to our work. Olaus Petri health center is located in central Örebro and is, with just over 21,900 registered residents, the largest health center in Örebro city. Olaus Petri BMM and BVC moved in November 2021 from the health center into completely new facilities and are now located at Fredsgatan 23. Our catchment area includes residential neighborhoods, multifamily housing, and countryside, which means varied patient work.
Responsibilities
As a midwife at our midwifery clinic, you will have stimulating and independent work, with the opportunity to make a significant difference for the individual woman and her family.
Your work tasks consist mainly of pregnancy monitoring, contraceptive counseling/prescription, gynecological health checks, telephone counseling, and parent groups. Counseling on lifestyle habits is also part of your responsibility.
Qualifications
You are a licensed midwife with prescribing authority.

It is important that you as a person are responsible, positive, flexible, unpretentious, and have good teamwork skills and a professional approach toward both patients and colleagues. Since your work is very independent, you must be driven and accustomed to structuring your own work.
Contributing to the operation's development and change projects is something you see as a natural part of your work. The health promotion mission of local healthcare is a central part of the operation, which is why an interest in lifestyle matters is a merit.
