Are you passionate about fitness and customer service with previous experience working at a swimming facility? Then we are looking for you to fill our vacant pool attendant position at Holjebadet. Holjebadet - A Sustainable Meeting Place for Everyone Holjebadet, opened in December 2007, is an oasis in everyday life, a place for both relaxation and exercise and activities. The facility is handicap-accessible and features a 25-meter lap pool for recreational swimming and play, a 16-meter heated pool, water slide, play area, climbing walls, relaxation area with bubble pool and steam bath, sauna, and a well-equipped gym. Job Description As a pool attendant, you will work in the swimming facility with typical duties such as providing service to our visitors, overseeing safety, performing facility maintenance, and leading various activities such as water aerobics and sauna evenings. You may also serve as a baby instructor, swimming instructor, activity leader on land and in water. Together with your colleagues, you will help develop the facility's operations and create and organize various activities. We offer you a varied and stimulating work environment and you will be part of a department and workplace that operates with a positive spirit regarding fitness and meaningful leisure. The position includes irregular working hours such as evenings and weekends. The position includes work tasks such as: Supporting, encouraging, and promoting a healthy lifestyle where the municipality's residents experience improved health through the department's/administration's work Increasing swimming proficiency in the municipality Working with fitness initiatives Qualifications You are a competent swimmer with a high school diploma and certifications in lifesaving and CPR. Qualifications such as pool manager certification, swimming instructor certification, or other equivalent training/experience in the pool area are advantageous. We welcome training in and experience conducting various activity-related programs. Experience working with children and youth is also desirable. The ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish is a requirement for the position; additional language skills are advantageous. You also have good computer skills. These qualities provide the best conditions for us to work well together and succeed in our mission. A clearance from the criminal record registry is required.
