Korsavadsanläggningen is reopening after extensive renovation and several years of closure. The facility is a central gathering place for sports, leisure, and physical activity in Simrishamns kommun and includes, among other things, a swimming hall, shooting range, bowling alley, two gymnastics halls, and a large sports hall. The facility is visited daily by schools, associations, and the public and serves an important function in the municipality's leisure offerings.
The position is placed within the Leisure Unit of Simrishamns kommun, which is responsible for leisure and association development, swimming operations, youth activities, and facility management and operations. In connection with the reopening, the operations are in a startup and development phase where quality, safety, and accessibility are important guiding principles.

JOB DUTIES
As a pool attendant, you work part-time, 75 percent, with varying tasks in daily pool operations. The work is primarily located in the swimming hall and includes pool supervision, visitor service, work at the cash register and reception, cleaning, and other practical tasks related to the facility's daily operations.
The facility recently opened after extensive renovation and operations are in a startup phase. This means the work is characterized by building and developing clear routines, while safety, security, and good service are central parts of daily work. You contribute to creating a well-functioning and welcoming environment for our visitors.
You have an important role in the safety and well-being of pool guests. The workplace uses rotating schedules, which means tasks can vary between pool supervision, reception, service, cleaning, and other work needed to ensure the facility operates in a safe, clean, and professional manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old, comfortable in water, and has good swimming skills. Since safety is a central part of the work, tests in both swimming and lifesaving are conducted as part of the recruitment process.
As a pool attendant, you need to have a high safety mindset, good customer service skills, and the ability to contribute to order and safety in the facility. You are attentive, responsible, and comfortable meeting visitors of different ages and in different situations.
It is a merit if you have current training in CPR (HLR), experience in lifesaving, or previous work in a swimming facility. Experience in reception, service, facility maintenance, or other public-facing work is also valuable. Since the operations are run by the municipality, we would like you to have an understanding of what it means to work with public service, equal treatment, and good treatment of citizens. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
The work involves many meetings with visitors and places high demands on responsibility, attentiveness, and the ability to act calmly and clearly during incidents or emergencies. You are service-oriented, take initiative, and see what needs to be done in daily operations. You work well with others, enjoy working in a team, and communicate professionally. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, particularly regarding safety, treatment of others, and judgment.
