At Lundbybadet, our goal is to offer a meeting place for wellness and health and to increase swimming proficiency among community members. We want our customers to feel comfortable with us. At Lundbybadet, 13 permanent employees work alongside a number of external instructors and part-time staff members. Together, we have a great team spirit. We are now recruiting a Pool and Wellness Attendant!
The position is placed within the Culture and Recreation Department, one of Mjölby Municipality's six departments. With approximately 240 employees, we create opportunities for the municipality's visitors and residents to experience and participate in a diverse leisure and cultural life. We operate activities in-house and provide support to cultural and leisure activities run by non-profit associations, study organizations, and other actors. The department includes libraries, swimming facilities, cultural schools, youth centers, and other cultural and leisure activities.

DUTIES
The position involves varied tasks where service and safety are in focus. The duties include:
• Reception work and sales
• Providing service, information, and guidance to our guests
• Supervision and ensuring safety in the pool area
• Some technical maintenance and service
• Cleaning and maintenance of the swimming hall and common areas
• Café operations with simple food and refreshment preparation
The role also includes leading swimming classes, water training, and group training, which means you need to be comfortable in and around water and have a strong commitment to creating a safe and secure environment for our guests. Professional and service-oriented customer interaction is a natural part of the work, where you contribute to making every visitor feel welcome, seen, and cared for. You will also have the opportunity to take responsibility for, develop, and drive your own area of responsibility forward in close cooperation with your manager and colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
• Has completed upper secondary education
• Has good computer and system skills
• Is a proficient swimmer and in good physical condition
At the beginning of the recruitment process, you will take a swimming test, which you must pass to continue in the process.
We consider it meritorious if you have:
• Previous experience with the BRP cash register system
• Previous experience in service-oriented work
• Previous experience working at a pool and/or training facility
• Training in group training and/or water training, or alternatively experience leading wellness activities
As a person, you are confident in making quick and clear decisions, both independently and together with others. You like to take your own initiative and actively contribute to the development of the operation. You enjoy working with others, are attentive, show respect and empathy, and have an unpretentious approach where you appreciate and highlight others' efforts.
You work results-oriented with a focus on both quality and productivity. Through a systematic, methodical, and reliable work approach, you ensure good results and always keep the customer's needs and experience in focus.
